Łabandzi Śpiew "The following songs are even less shoegaze and more acoustic. And, oh boy, if everything they play sounded so fantastic and tear-jerking as "Distance Between" they could replace Tori Amos in the acoustic music throne" ENGLISH: bit.ly/2E96q8M Favorite track: Distance Between.

Time this carefully so no one sees The best disguise Hidden in plain sight As the seasons change I remain hidden far from space Hidden far from... And I'll watch them walk away Light the flame and throw it down Watch a kingdom burn No past for future Damned is the man Who abandons his own island... Own life to live And I'll crumble and break it down And I'll crumble and breaking down these walls And I'll watch them walk away Light the flame and throw it down Watch a kingdom burn No past for future

I've come to find that dreamers often dream alone Trying to get it right I'd build an island where I can live my life In this head of mine But I'll build you a home I'll make a life Trying to get it right... I've come to find that dreamers often lie awake Only to be distant Making islands to call my home In this heart of mine But I'll build you a home I'll make a life Trying to get it right... I've come to find most dreamers end up alone In their own minds But I'll build you a home I'll spend a life Trying to get it right... I'm just trying to get it right

Rumors 03:58
Packing up old picture frames as I tear these things down. I'll make sure to map out the ways from this old fucking town and I can't recognize myself. I don't see myself in any of the things I have. And I build this home with my bare hands. I've been working and sweating, the tears, blood, and all that I am. My whole life and these years that I can't get back. No I can't get back...and they're gone now. I said I just need some space to get my head straight. I just need some space to get my head on straight. They start talking among themselves, spreading rumors about my health. Everybody's wondering "Where are you going?" "Why are you leaving?" "How could you do this?" I don't know...no I don't know. Maybe I'm lying.... Okay, I'm lying See I just need some space to get my head straight. I just need some space to get my head on straight.

The River 02:51
Tastes like whiskey to me. "The sky must be falling" is what I tell myself. And there's no reason, it's a myth. With all of us trying to find someone to be in love with. All ideas are tossed aside And dilemmas will leave my mind Any day or night I'll stand by your side if you ask me to Like a river leads to the sea Their eyes will be following, It's what they all told me And there's no reason, it's a myth With all of us trying to find someone to be in love with. I'll stand by your side if you ask me to

I'm sorry to say this but the truth hurts. And your love felt like suffocating. All the air just left my lungs. I was trying to find the words...I tried. But I had to watch you go. I never wanted to end like this. I never wanted to watch you leave. I never wanted to see you go. But I had to... And losing you felt like dying. All the air had left my lungs. But your love was so suffocating and it stole my soul. I was trying to find the words, but I had to watch you go. I never wanted it to end like this. I never wanted to watch you go. I never wanted to see you leave, but you had to leave.

about

'Living Rooms' is a collective of sparse live session recordings completed in various open spaces using minimal equipment. The EP features a quiet session of "Collapse" (from the band's previous Collapse EP) and 4 new songs. While often known for the band's ethereal and climatic soundscapes on stage, Twin Oak's 'Living Rooms EP' is a homage to the band's earlier bedroom folk/dream pop sounds.
